More than 60 attendees gathered at the Enterprise App Revolution 2013 to discuss current challenges, brand new approaches and future trends in the field of enterprise apps. Participants, speakers and business partners joined in on the first conferences in the world on this topic and had the opportunity to exchange experiences, widen their network and debate upcoming challenges.

The Enterprise App Revolution 2013 has therefore established itself as the biggest conference in the world just focusing on enterprise apps, the management, technology, security and usage of apps for different purposes in the enterprise.

On the evening of the first conference day, the Icebreaker session provided a first opportunity to network, benchmark and discuss, while allowing the participants to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere at the NOVOTEL Berlin.

More than 20 presentations and keynotes

Inspiring discussions and presentations regarding the core issues enabled diversified touch points with the audience’s experience and fulfilled the expectations to a maximum.

Throughout the three days of the conference, the many topics of focus played an important role in the agenda. Field reports, panel discussions, as well as case studies were presented. The exchange of ideas between participants, speakers and business partners was animated and encouraged through different kinds of sessions (eg. World Cafés, Challenge Your Peers Roundtables) providing real value for the attendees. Accordingly, the conference aimed at turning the participants into active debating members, rather than passive listeners and this goal was notedly achieved.

Participants suggested numerous encountered difficulties within the industry and possible, practical solutions.

In addition to the outstanding speeches of the event, we.CONECT strived to achieve more. This is why each participant was asked ahead of time for further concerns, questions and topics to be raised. According to the gathered answers, we.CONECT created innovative and exciting Challenge Your Peers Roundtables. Each table came to deal with important matters, for which participants had shown interest, and discussions on latest issues and trends for most of the second-day afternoon.

we.CONECT World Café

With the ‘Wisdom of Crowds’, we.CONECT adopted a newly intensive, interactive and innovative way of exchanging experiences in a collective way at the conference.

During the World Café sessions on the morning of the second day, participants were given the opportunity to intensively discuss and share ideas and solutions in the field of Enterprise App development. To come up with new innovative ideas and concepts for current issues in co-operation with peer experts was the dedicated goal of the discussion.

Security Café

  • Moderated by Jonathan Boulos,  Kimberly-Clark corp. / USA - The state of security in the mobile enterprise

The results were presented afterwards during a panel discussion and presentation of the key results. In the afternoon, more presentations from Osborne Clarke and Maersk Line A/S followed.
